Welcome to Vintage Eye, the site for enthusiasts of rare, but affordable, wristwatches from the 60’s & 70s.
We are a small team of dedicated vintage watch enthusiasts — collectors, dealers, and restorers — with a shared passion for beautiful, innovative timepieces from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Our focus lies on the bold design shift of the late 1960s through the late 1970s, when watches moved from monochrome restraint into an exciting era of color, creativity, and character. We specialize in iconic Swiss brands, particularly Heuer, Omega, and Breitling, while maintaining a strong secondary specialty in rare Seiko references from 1982–1983 featuring the highly regarded 7A28 movement.
We hunt for rare references and exotic dial variations, with a preference for larger diameter watches between 38mm and 47mm, all offered at accessible price points below $10,000. What truly sets us apart is our hands-on approach: any restorations are carried out in-house by our highly experienced watchmaker, using only genuine parts to preserve the authenticity and integrity of each timepiece.

Condition is key for vintage watches. Always purchase the best you can afford.
Our in-house watch maker will carefully check the operation and movement of each watch offered. All movements that are not operating in acceptable parameters for their age will be fully serviced prior to sale.
