1977 Breitling Navitimer 1806 (Iraq Air Force)

This rare and large 48mm steel pilot’s chronograph was issued to the Iraqi Air Force and has both a special dial with the Air Force “wings” and a large Iraqi eagle case-back engraving. This example comes directly from the owner’s personal collection and is preserved in excellent condition, with only a few light scratches from wear. It is powered by a Breitling calibre 12, automatic movement. An opportunity for a collector to acquire a highly collectible, Breitling military-issued chronograph.
Condition
The example offered here dates from 1977 and is in MINT and original condition. The matte black dial surface is free of any marks; the white sub-dials are super white. The case is unmarked and the case back is unpolished and in beautiful condition with all engravings deep and clear. All the original tritium is fully intact, ageing to a lovely even creamy color. The bezel is in excellent condition with no signs of wear.
All functions are in perfect and running order. Service history is unknown. The watch comes with a premium, brown leather strap. Size is 47mm.
