1973 Breitling1451 Tricompax, Manual Wind Chronograph 42mm

A great mix of sporty and elegance, a very impressive men's Breitling chronograph.

The case is gold-plated, stainless steel tonneau-shaped. Signed Breitling, Genève, Ref. 1451, 1-435-599, manufactured in 1973.  Cal. Valjoux 7736 mechanical movement, 17 jewels, protective metal cap, gilt brushed dial, applied baton numerals with luminous accents, outer fifths seconds divisions and tachymetre scale, three subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, large gold-plated tonneau-shaped brushed case, stainless steel snap on back, two round chronograph buttons in the band, case, dial and movement signed. 42 mm. diameter.

Condition:

The movement was recently cleaned and serviced, and is in excellent running condition, all original. Comes with matching aftermarket leather strap.   The case is in very good condition with only minimal loss of plating at the edges.  The case back engraving is sharp and clear.  Note there is also an additional personal engraving from the previous owner.
