1970s Enicar "Jump Hour" Automatic Ref. 119-01-01

NOS in original packaging; Blue & Brown. Selling as a Pair.

$1500.00

Enicar, the brainchild of Swiss watchmaker Artiste Racine (whose last name is a playful reversal), came into existence in 1913. Throughout the 20th century, it gained recognition for two distinctive lines of timepieces: the iconic 'Sherpa' watches, which garnered fame after being sported by the 1956 Swiss expedition to Mount Everest.

Among its offerings from the 1970s, there's a striking steel tonneau-shaped automatic jump hour digital watch. The brushed case measures 37mm x 36mm, featuring a steel back adorned with the hallmark logo, a magnifying crystal, and a display for hour, minute, second, and a jumping hour digital read-out.

This piece hails as a valuable collectible from the stylish 1970s era.

We are selling as a pair one blue and brown dial version.  A rare opportunity for the collector!
