A Rare & Unique Pilot’s Chronograph.

After creating the first automatic chronograph movement in 1969, Breitling named the new product line: Chrono-Matic. These watches had an original and distinctive look following the 70s style.

The dial features a colorful hands configuration with orange hands (hour, minute and chronograph) and a yellow GMT hand. The rotating, 24-hour inner bezel has a lighter (day) and a darker (night) hue. The GMT complication allows time displaying in two different time zones simultaneously.

The dial and hands are original and are in untouched, original condition The dial is in near perfect condition with some lovely patina on the dark part of the dial. The lume has evenly aged throughout.  There no fading from age on the darker brown part of the rotating inner bezel, which is common with this model. The case may have been polished at some stage and as such, the caseback inscription is faint, however the case and model numbers are still visible.

The watch has just been expertly serviced by our in-house watchmaker and is running very strongly with an amplitude of 330 and is only losing 6 seconds per day.
