A collector's-grade, remarkably crisp example of Omega's 41mm dual-crown tool watch, featuring a flawless dial and its rare, original 1170/625 stainless steel bracelet.
The Omega Seamaster Chronostop reference 145.008 "Jumbo" represents a peak era of Omega's experimental, highly functional tool watch design. While standard Chronostops of the late 1960s were modest 34–35mm dress-style timers, the Seamaster 145.008 commands serious wrist presence with its substantial 41mm compressor-style tonneau case.
Engineered for professionals, it features a dual-crown architecture: the crown at 4 o'clock controls the time, while the dedicated crown at 10 o'clock operates the internal rotating timing bezel under the glass. Powered by the hand-wound, high-beat Calibre 865, this single-pusher flyback chronograph utilizes a vibrant orange central seconds hand for high-visibility tracking. Pressing the 2 o'clock pusher starts the sweep second hand, while holding it down allows you to read the elapsed time before releasing it to instantly fly back to zero.
Condition:
Overall this watch is in excellent condition. The flawless matte black dial with crisp white tracking, retains its original "T SWISS MADE T" tritium plots, on the applied markers have aged to a perfect, uniform warm cream patina, matching the original luminous hands
The case is well-preserved, showcasing sharp case geometry with the factory sunburst brushed finish intact. It shows minor hairlines and light signs of wear consistent with age, but no signs of heavy polishing. Case back engravings remain clear.
The glass is original with micro-logo visible in the center.
The matching bracelet has some surface scratches on the clasp & on the endlinks. It shows on a little stretch for its age.
The movement has just been serviced by our watchmaker. on the timegrapher it is running strongly & accurately gaining 1 second per day with an amplitude of 317.
