Vintage diver perfection at its finest! Feast your eyes on this Breitling SuperOcean Ref. 2005 Mark 2 with its striking thick green lume and eye-catching yachting bezel, preserved in pristine New Old Stock condition.

The Breitling SuperOcean 2005 comes from a period when various watch brands set the trends for the coming decades with their full creativity and bold ideas. This diver's chronograph was first introduced in 1964 and featured a very unusual and creative design.

The star of the show? Its mesmerizing "slow seconds" mechanism, with it's unique paddle chrono hand timing minutes not seconds, powered by a modified Venus 188. To confirm operation, Breitling added a six o'clock activity indicator (dot) to show if the timing mechanism was engaged, paused or off, adding a unique charm to this iconic dive watch—a true collector’s dream rooted in Breitling’s storied heritage.

A rare watch, which has been used as the main inspiration for Breitling's current line up of SuperOcean watches. It is paired with a period correct Milanese mesh bracelet from JB Champion.

This particular Breitling SuperOcean 2005 is the second generation (MK3) from 1969 with a cool yachting bezel. A special look of this watch is created thanks to the large tritium markers and the square-tipped chrono minute hand. At 9 o'clock is a sub-dial with running seconds.

The Breitling SuperOcean 2005 is still one of the underrated vintage diver watches. It is constantly increasing in value and is extremely difficult to find in good condition. The example offered here is an exceptional opportunity for the Collector.
